There’s something special about riding a bike in peak condition – it’s clean, silent, the gears shift seamlessly, the chain runs smoothly…

This class provides you with the skills to carry out basic bike maintenance on your bike to ensure it functions as efficiently as possible between your major services, therefore prolonging the life of your bike and its components. The class includes;

  • fixing a puncture
  • adjusting brakes
  • tuning gears
  • fixing chains

Course dates;

8th & 15th May 2013

17th & 24th July 2013

These sessions run from 6pm-9pm at Varis Training in Forres. If you would like to book please call them on 01309 696932

 Advanced Bike Maintenance (2 sessions)

This class is designed for those who want to know more than the basics and is especially good for frequent riders who need to maintain their bike on a more regular basis, such as commuters, mountain bikers, racing cyclists or touring cyclists. It includes;

  • drive chain replacements
  • changing bottom brackets
  • headsets
  • hubs

You will come away armed with all the skills needed to perform some very complex tasks plus loads of valuable advice.

Course dates;

31st July & 7th August

This session runs from 6pm-9pm at Varis Training in Forres. If you would like to book a place please call 01309 696932

For both classes we provide all the tools, it’s best if you can bring along your own bike, but we can provide one if needed. Our Outfit instructor running the course is a qualified bike mechanic with sprockets full of bike knowledge.

All classes are run, between 6pm-9pm at either Outfit Moray HQ in Lossie or Varis Training HQ in Forres, with a max of 6 people. To book, or for more information, either contact Varis on 01309 696932 or Outfit on 01343 549 571, depending on the location of your chosen course.
