Cairngorm to Spey Bay by leg, saddle and paddle!
23rd and 24th May 2009
A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped out during this event, especially Andy Holtby who was the brains and organiser behind the event, Rosie Black who ran the shuttle for us on Sunday and Iain and Steve for driving.
- We ran from a very windy summit of Cairngorm to Glenmore.
- Mountain biked over the Ryovan pass through Nethy forest to Cromdale.
- Voyager Canoed to Ballindalloch which did involve a small epic once we'd capsised above Advie bridge!
- Then it was time for a well earned rest and BBQ at the campsite
- On the second day we cycled to Spey bay before enjoying a dip in the north sea!
The total length of the journey was 100km.
Once our legs have recovered, we'll start planning next year's challenge - watch this space.............................................
