Moray Coast Named Top Class Travel Destination

January 14, 2013 By Caroline Saunders

2013 is the Year of Natural Scotland, celebrating Scotland’s outstanding natural beauty. From stunning natural and historic landscapes, art inspired by nature, surprising wildlife and delicious food & drink.

Combine that with James Bond and Brave, Scotland has been recognised as a tip top destination to visit.

CNN has picked our bonnie homeland as their number one pick in their countdown of ‘Top Destinations 2013‘, and National Geographic have picked out the Moray Firth as one of the top ten coastal destinations in the world.

We’d have to say we agree. It’s a wonderful place to call home, and a fantastic destination to visit.

Winter Storm

December 18, 2012 By Caroline Saunders

Much of Outfit was left coated in muck and sand after the ‘perfect storm’, which hit Lossie on Saturday. Seeing some of the destruction around we were very lucky not to have suffered any damage.

There’s a great album of photographs on the We Heart Moray facebook page if you’re interested.

A fantastic rally of local people provided a great community feel to the clean up operations and we thank everyone who lent a hand and all those who offered.

Lets just hope it doesn’t happen again.

Cycle Friendly Employer Award

December 18, 2012 By Caroline Saunders

After a visit from Cycling Scotland earlier this month, we are very proud to announce we have been awarded the Cycle Friendly Employer Award!

The award is a big thumbs up for all that Outfit does to promote us cycling to work. We’ve got access to a toasty shower, bike hanging hooks, tools for fixes and services, and even a bike mechanic or two on hand to help (provided you feed them enough dark chocolate).

It’s a joy to cycle in in the morning, which most of the team do as much as they can, the facilities here are great, so thanks Outfit and well done!

Now just to see who’s going to win the Love to Ride virtual team challenge from Land’s End to John O’Groats…

Grampian Furnishers Light the Way

December 10, 2012 By Caroline Saunders

The whole team here at Outfit HQ would like to say a huge thank you to Grampian Furnishers who have very generously sponsored our new batch of bike lights.

In January we will be kitted out with lights suitable for us to take groups out to woodland tracks and trails in the dark. If you’ve never tried it before, it’s a completely different biking experience, and certainly lots of fun!

Thank you Grampian Furnishers, it was a fantastic gift to receive in time for Christmas, we’re all looking forward to January now!
