OM Consultancy Services
Several of the Outfit-Moray team come from a business background and have a wide range of expertise in the voluntary, private and public sectors. The Consultancy Service is lead by Iain Jamieson, Chairman of Outfit-Moray and Moray Social Entrepreneur 2009. Iain has considerable experience in facilitating events and delivering workshops on a range of topics (CV available on request). He is currently an associate facilitator with the Social Enterprise Academy.
In difficult economic times, many organisations will be concerned and will be looking at new and different ways of doing things. Underpinning any change is the need for a clear vision and strategy, appropriate dynamic leadership and effective teamwork. Critical to the success of any business, whether in the private or voluntary sector, is the need to innovate and generate new ides that will lead to improved or new services and products.
Services
OM Consultancy Services can support Third Sector (voluntary sector) organisations by providing:
Focus Forward – Facilitated sessions to develop, refresh ideas and renew the vision.
Driving the Business – Facilitated sessions to identify, clarify and highlight strategies to maintain and develop the business.
Creating the Future - Innovation workshops that draw on your knowledge, experience and expertise to generate and develop new ideas.
On the Pitch – Team development workshops looking at how the team works, identifying key strengths, gaps and setting the route plan towards strong team performance.
Leading for Success – Leadership workshops looking at different styles and approaches to successfully lead teams and the business.
Methodology
In order to make workshops and sessions engaging, interesting and as interactive as possible we use a number of methods and approaches:
Pinpoint™ provides structure and cohesion for each programme and assists facilitation and interaction.
Practical tasks and activities provide opportunities to explore ideas, gain insights and draw conclusions.
Small group discussions draw out key issues, clarify thinking and generate ideas.
Group presentations provide opportunities for communicating thoughts and ideas, giving and receiving feedback and offering solutions.
Why Invest in these Programmes?
Perhaps a better question would be why do organisations not invest in seeking support from an external ‘agent’? The likely answer is that it is too expensive as things are very difficult right now and we are just too busy keeping things going. However, a new pair of eyes can often see alternative ways of thinking or doing things and can help you in ways that you might not imagine. Seeking support can really help to ‘hit the spot’.
So What Does This Cost?
